Author what is better on the road x16xe with powerbox or 2.0 8valve

ive been told that the 2.0 8valve is about 115bhp and the x16xe is 104bhp so with a powerbox on should be about the bhp of the 2.0 8vavle but what would be the better setup for the road.

i know 8valve power is alot lower down that the 16v enignes.

is it worth putting an 2.0 8valve in?

I know it's chavy and not the best measure of performance, but my 1.6 with power box beat a 2.0 8v in a 0-100 sprint 3 times in a row by quite a distance each time

i was just woundering y people put in the 2.0 8valve in a gsi instead of just he x16xe lower inlet and powerbox. i must admit i used to have a saxo vtr and i did perfer where the power was on the 8valve than the 16v.

if u ask me id say the x16xe as there liter so the car will handle abit beta and uve got all the power of the 16v, so id go with the x16xe all the way
