i know theyre chavvy as a general rule but bidding on a de cat system for my derv just wondering if it will be stupidly loud
i thought diesels couldnt really have a sporty exhaust?

It will make very little noise difference tbh. I had a backbox on my diesel corsa which sounded the same as a standard exhaust, it was then taken off and put onto my petrol corsa and gave a very nice exhaust note

Won't get a massive increase in noise on a Diesel, especially if its a TD as a lot of noise is lost through the restriction that is the Turbo.

We put a larger bore system from my old 16v Cav onto my GFs Cav TD, has made it slighlty louder, but nothing intrusive atall. Sounds alright on hard boost mind...
