hey guys i aint posted much on here but i own a c20xe corsa and just got my hands on everything to turbo it basically
i was wondering i know i can put a decompression plate it but is there any other way to lower the compression withought spending out on new pistons a head mod??

not really no, just get a set of second had let pistons and job done, they can be had for not much money

i just read about opening the compression chambers??
i didnt buy a let cause i bought the whole car off my mate for 500 quid with the XE in it

Just use LET pistons.. can be had for little money - probably just as cheap as a decompression plate bodge

and c20let ecu, cams, top hat, extra sensors, turbo, exhaust injectors etc

ahhh far enuf thats all i need the loom and ecu i got the rest off my mates nova turb he sold the ecu seperate for more money

so get the loom ecu pistons and exhaust cam and start fitting

need all the extra sensors aswell. the throttle body is different also. need to drill the block for the oil return from the turbo.

i had my mates sump cause he had the oil return back to the sump woked a treat
what extra sensors are needed also the inlet different

tps different, hot start valve, amal valve, tank vent valve, afm is different maybe some more that i cant remember.

You're better off running the oil return to the block because it's easier for the oil to run back into fresh air rather than below the oil line in the sump.
