i was wondering if anybody could advise me as to what wheel bearings they have used with m tec conversion hubs and standard corsa hub carriers?

They should fit standard corsa bearings mate.

Having said that, when i had to replace one of mine i took the hub to the autofactors and had them try a few diff bearings as the corsa one was too small.

iirc a Cavalier one fitted.
