Our release party was wicked, had a really good night!
The 1st album (8 Til Late) and our brand new self titled album are available from www.myspace.com/theshredsuk at a very reasonable price, delivered to your door
Some of our stuff is on myspace if you havent heard us yet. The album is top notch quality, you won't hear a better quality album
Get yourself there if you are into music and grab yourself a copy.
Ben.

Cheers Kev, we spent a lot of time going over stuff in the studio, we spent 2 days on a mix, then a further 2 days polishing it up. We learned a lot from our first album, what we could make better and record differently, what we ended up with is something we think is much better than our debut.

Not sure about
It's pretty hard to gauge from myspace how good it sounds due to the compression use (bandwidth filtered etc), and i'm listening on my DT250s (tend to extend the bottom end a little) rather than my monitors, but overall it's pretty good. Although the kick on Broken Crown and Today Is For Living is pretty "pizza boxed" (typical of mics like the D112 etc) and stands out like a sore thumb, however the kick used on the other tracks fits in really well and has a lot of definition. Overall mix is good and even, impressed.
Musically/As Band, think you lot are decent, you guys signed?

We're not signed to external label no. We have our own called LOF Records that we release through. We've been signed to 2 'labels' in the past, but it was promotion and they did fuck all for us to be fair.
I agree, the quality of uploaded stuff to myspace sounds awful. Its a shame because the album itself has to be heard to appreciate it.

Haha, the 'guy' in the photo is me
I put my hand up intentionally, I was aiming for the halo effect of the sun on my hand, and also not to blow the exposure too much in the background. DSLR sensors don't like the 50 stops of different exposures.
Anyway, it was unanimous that is was the best frame of the shoot.
