hi, I would like to know how much it would cost for a garage to fit a redtop engine into my 1.6 sport is there a conversion kit you have to buy? if so what sort of price am i looking at. thanks

My engine was fitted for £1300 all in (that's including new clutch, timing belt, waterpump, full service, new parts etc). The lads who did it did a fantastic job and I'd recommend them to anyone, but I think you'd have a hell of a long journey to get here!

Who done your conversion Eck if you dont mind me asking??

I did ask Kev for you(forgot to get back to you)but he said he was to busy with his E30 and didnt really have the space at the time.

No worries mate. It was two boys from Tilli who did it. John Maciver (Mac1976 on here) and his mate Ian Knox. Did a good job!
