hi all i have a w reg corsa sport 1.4 16v it has air con,abs power steering e.t.c ,my problem is i need to re do some wires as they have frayed near the gromet in the passenger footwell which comes through the bulkhead,iv had a look today took the glovebox out e.t.c and theres a big black box type thing in my way it looks like its to do with air con how did you remove it when stripping your dash? really need to know so i can sort the wires out  thanks lee

-this should be in helpzone, you might get more replies and help in there.
- Never done it myself, start with dismantling simple things like steering shroud, MFD, center console, think the main connections are at the side of the dash, 2 screws or hex keys either side iirc.

Must be air con specific, I didn't come across any boxes apart from the loom plug in the passenger foot well, I did struggle with the heater box so just hit it with a hammer enough times untill it came out in manageble size bits don't fancy any chance of it ever going back together so bot much help to you!
