since the corsa gsi i had ( which is no longer with us ) this is the first car ive really got stuck into. its pretty much fully loaded: 2.9 12v engine, full leather heated seats, electrics, air con, steering wheel, glove box, hot and cold blowers etc. I bought it in august and have had the rear panel smoothed, rear bumper resprayed, front bumper, bonnet, headlamp surrounds, grill and vw badged sprayed.. it was in abit of a mess when i got it althought it came with the audi wheels and weitec coilovers however the toad alarm that was fitted was an absolute bodge so had that replaced aswell. Next on the list is a set of wheels which i already have, adaptors for them which are on order and an exhaust from america eventually mainly because the aftermarket ones in this country cost £££££££££££. I took a few pictures today because vtech barnes couldnt wait to see it.

i will update it whenever shit happens

cheers!

sometimes they bully me on e38.

on another note the alarm was a joke. There was an amplifier wiring kit already in the car so i plugged in an amp to power the front speakers but whenever i had the stereo turned right up the engine cut out. I investigated and found out the gimp plugged in the power cable to the back of the fuse board!! then whoever fitted the alarm tapped into the powercable for the amp to get power for the alarm ecu. so by having the amp turned up it was draining power from the alarm ecu and cutting in the immobiliser. never known anything like it. shambles

yeh all vr6 corrados were 2.9. The storm just came with an interior badge, a boot badge and you could only get them in green and mystic blue

Lovely friend has one in the same colour. he has smoked rear lights and they look really good with that colour. Think they are quite rare though considering as some bloke at the last show offered him £150 there and then for them

His is only a 1.8 though.

Lovely cars

cheers for the comments. I forgot to say i used tinted lamin-x on the headlamps and indicators.

Gavin they are pretty rare, especially the vr6. it does get alot of attention because they are so few and far between but on the other hand its not as easy as just going down a scrappy and get parts if needs be

Rear needs to go lower!

Need to tint the fogs too, and some chrome indicator bulbs for the front Looking good though

the ride height is getting adjusted when the new rims go on next year, it handles pretty well with abit of nose down anyway.

Thats looks awfy nice.Never been a fan of those Mini TT Comps but they suit your call quite well.

All red rears would give you more "scene" points.

induction noise alone sounds lovely when its opened up but cruising about its as quiet as anything. soon sort that out with a cat back

as for the all red rears, its on the cards. i was going to use red lamin-x but i didnt find it very plyable around sharp corners
