Uninsured, Untaxed & Unmot'd car....

I'm guessing you have to insure it first, to take it to the MOT station and then get it taxed?

What happens if you get stopped on the way to the MOT station? Or to the Post Office?

Thanks

1) Insure it
2) Have the MOT booked,
3)buy tax online or walk to post office

You can drive the vehicle untaxed to and from the MOT test so long as its insured.

When it passes either buy it online or get to the Post Office some other way. The same exemption DOES NOT apply to driving to the Post Office in an untaxed car. If they don't say anything, you're lucky, it is an offence.

What if the post office is on the way back from the MOT test centre?

Then they'll probably do you when you park.
