Basically, yes.
That time last year the country was under 5 inches of snow.
Just something to bare in mind when booking that far in advance.

Extreme cases like snow I would imagine you would, anything else I doubt it.

You've also got to consider that with a low price generally it means a high amount of cars on the track or at the venue on that day.

I was thinking of doing it as lots of the seat lads are doing it, but I doubt I can afford tyres and coilovers before then

So?
We took Donnas totally standard Astra on track a few times, and if you can drive right, you can run rings around a lot more better kit driven by numpties
Price isn't bad, i'd do it if it was closer.
Tyres, as long as they arn't slicks and are legal, u'll be fine.

But a VXR is slightly more designed to be on the track than a 1.6 Seat, no offence BTW. I wouldn't have taken the Polo on track without some decent suspension as it gets a bit wallowy.

I'd take a 1.2 16v Corsa out on the track.
Its how much fun you have whilst doing it. And tbh, if it IS wet, he can use the 1.6 in a much more safe and fun way than a 2.0 turbo
Standard car suspensions do hang on a lot better than people think. all about being smoooooth
tbh, i'd be more worried about brakes overheating on a standard car than anything else, but if its wet and cold, that won't be a problem as much.

Never overheated the nurburgendy astra brakes, which are the cheapest motorfactor pads avalible, and standard disks
saying that its also 118bhp and had so much fun in that
