how much would i be expecting to pay for a 1.0 engine ? .. jus found out me head gasket has blown and im just considering replacing the engine as an option

check ebay, the smaller recent engines can go for a pretty penny depending on milage.

just checked there on ebay.. its guna be anywer from 150 to 300 quid

why not fix your engine? shouldnt cost too much if its just a gasket failure?

Its less fiddly to replace the whole engine even if it is CHG failure.. the 12v is a doddle! especially if its a non a/c model.

cost me 150 quid for my 1 litre, straight swap too.
