What has been your favourite CD and live act you have seen in 2009?
For me my favourite release has been Justin Martins chaos restored 2. Awesome mix of minimal techno and deep house, yet still kept it fun.

And my favourite live act has been Luciano. Seen him twice this year, once at the beginning in Edinburgh and once a couple of weeks ago at Fabric nightclub in London. Both sets were mind blowing.

Not really a cd but I put it onto a cd for my car and played it the most so i'll count it! Steve Lawler's Essential mix that would be followed by the courteneers album St Jude.
Live act i'm not sure, Probably Sven Vath, he never fails. Saw him after Luciano at Cocoon in the park this summer, then he was shit hot the other night in Liverpool.

CD: Addicted to Bass Winter 2009 CD1... Bassment Jaxx - Raindrops (Doorly Remix) / Blame - Stay Forever / The Prodigy - Take Me To The Hospital (Rusko Remix) are simply amazing!
Live: Pendulum. Played an awesome set of DnB & dubstep

CD I'd have to go with Mos Def 'The Ecstatic' which I felt was a massive return to form for a very underated artist.
As for Live Act I'd have to go with De La Soul at the Sage in Newcastle, all sorts of old School Hip Hop Greatness!
