depends which version, although I personally wouldnt bother as if you are caught the penalties are jail etc.
Sell it to somebody abroad...like me

Some people do get mixed up with barring and network unlocking, but he could mean unlocking...

The non 3G one can have its IMEI number changed.. 3G and 3GS can not.. Sell it to someone in europe.
