depends on what it is model etc etc.
Ive bought and stripped a few cars thier is alot of money to be made if you know what your doing.
If i had a big enough place i would do everyday.

Loads of money in braking cars mate.
Get the right car for around £100.
CAT - £60
Alloys wheels - £7 per wheel = £28
Weight in scrap after bits removed for sale - £30
Total before you have sold anything - £108 already in profit.
Only problem is being able to get rid of the parts, getting the right parts and having somewhere to do it.....

only worth it if you find the right cars with bits that people want corsa gsi's and things like that as everyone wants the trim off higher models, i stripped a tigra and it took me ages to shift bits after engine and wheels had gone

Buy a top spec car with all the goodies...

last one i did i bought a mk1 clio with front end damage for £40, fixed it with parts from scrappy and sold it on. car owd me £90 altogether after fixing it and i sold it on for £400

I just bought a golf for £100, polished it and sold it for £400 on sunday. You need to buy the right car.
Look for a porsche with d90s on it or something the vag boys will want parts off.

i do it all the time, sometimes it works out better to buy a whole car when your looknig for specific parts and just break the rest to get my money back, of ill buy a cheap car just to make more pennies to spend on whatever project im working on

Breaking cars is a great way to make money!
Broke my last Nova and made a hell of alot more than if i had sold it as a whole car!
I like to think of myself as a Property Developer, but for cars.
Started off with nothing and now i have two cars haha.

as said it can be good money with the right cars and having the time/space to strip them properly.
when i was getting a c20let for my corsa, i bought a whole cally but kept the c20let and running gear for myself but stripped the rest and got the money back so the c20let didnt stand me in at much at all

i just like it when you get people asking how much the car owes me and i can turn around and say nothing due to the returns on the cars ive bought and broke to get the parts i wanted

i was always convinced buying modified cars and returning them to standard and flogging the mods was the best idea! Altho that was when that market was massive....

Im lucky i have/can borrow most the stuff.
The golf i mentioned in my previous post i couldnt get home though. I got a local guy with a landy and a trailer to pick it up for me, he charged me £1 a mile.
You can also hire car trailers for arround £40 for 24 hours

Theres plenty cash to be made in doing this sort of thing, my mate has a unit and does this sort and makes a hell of a cash doing so.

I used to break a lot of cars, I used to buy calibra turbos alot, break them in the driveway at home!
Used to drive them home, phone up scrappy to collect later that day, take the engine / box / leather / wheels / fuel computer / clocks, would sometimes only have the car for 4 hours!
Easy money!
Another thing that made me easy money was C20XE's, would sometimes buy them for under £100 off ebay and free ad's, you could get over £500 for the engine in bits
Dont know what prices are like as much now, I have otherways of extra cash without getting my hands dirty now

I broke up my old Fiesta, made my money back on what I bought it for but still have tons left. Wrong time of year now really to be selling car parts but I'll advertise it all up again in January or something and hopefully shift most of it. Alot of it will end up getting put in the tip as it takes up too much room.
Defo make sure you have enough room as you won't shift everything straight away unless it's a popular motor.
