Techinically nothing to worry about. Mine used to tap, but when I had them out when reconditioning my head earlier this year I left them in a tub of degreaser, then when I built it all back up it stopped.

i find very very regular oil and filter changes stops it has done with all the xe's/let's i have had.

A happy tappet is a chappy tappet. Mine does it for a brief two secodns when it's bitter. Like said, very common.

Change the oil regularly. When it's freezing mine used to for a few seconds.

Mine did for ages lol sold it now, but it took about 15 minutes for it to stop if you left the car sitting. Then sometimes driving along it would temporlarily start again.
Still very quick, but it did annoy me. Then again I just used shitty Tesco oil my Dad had lying about the house

Mine does the same when cold however it does stop shortly after, if it carried on then i would start worrying.
