I know over in Europe winter tyres are the norm, but does anyone in the UK run them?

Are they even available here?

tread pattern is designed to push push away snow etc instead of having it compact up in the gaps.

kumho winter tread. they have won awards in foreign snowy countries etc. for the actual amount of snow we get, id not bother tbh unless you live in highlands and that.

The problem with running Winter/M+S tyres in this country is they get torn to shreds when its not snowing..

One of the Falken Ziex summer tyres is brilliant in the snow.. Can't remember which one but google will help you.

I'm running Kenda KR20's on the zaf and I've been driving down some pretty shitty lanes on a regular basis.
