Thing is, the guy in the truck is still driving too... it's not like the WRX just pulled a completely stationary truck.

I found the other day that whenever it got slippy / car lacked traction, simply having a person standing there holding the car or pushing it made me be able to drive up the slippiest of slopes.

That's basically what the WRX is doing really, giving tension for the lorry wheels to keep traction and drive itself out.

what you didnt see was the truck couldn't stop and squased the scoob against another truck

if you look the scoob actually starts to loose traction big style just before the truck moves.

this kind of happend to me yesterday. i got a 7.5 tonner stuck in snow and we pulled it out with an old range rover.
