Ok, a few months ago i go a new job which meant i had a company vehicle to hoot about in. Wasn't too sure what to do with my pug etc. Love the job, company doing alright and pug hasn't been driven much.

After something to put a smile on my face, nothing too small and actually like having 5 doors Always loved Subrau's and now is my chance to own one whether for a few months or a couple of years.

Now, insurance is a bit of an issue lol. 26 years old, no accidents, 6 points, 8 years no claims. Who's the best to get insurance from?

Based on a 2000 model 2.0T i'm getting quotes for 1000 miles from Lloyds TSB @ £1200.

I also need referals on the policy which Lloyds TSB give me for free. Drive my Mum's car a lot.

When I was looking at a VXR earlier this this Direct Line gave a really good quote, surprisingly.

Greenlight were the cheapest, but wanted a fortune to add on business use.

Was looking at Type Rs but i think i'll get one of those as i get a little older

My mate has a new Type R, simlar age as me and pays just over a grand on insurance.

A lad i know has the Subaru in question which has stood in his garage for about 18 months. Know he hasn't ragged it everywhere while he has been the owner and hasn't had any major issues with it.

Yeah, sounds like it considering your points - I thought however that your age may have taken it down but obviously not.

yer its fair enough saying 'i pay this' or 'i paid this at this age' but fact is its different for everyone so the OP is just gonna have to shop around and get the cheapest where he lives and taking his points etc into account.
