Hi, I've done a few corsa xe conversions and a couple of mk3 astra gsi to let conversions, I now fancy having a let in the corsa gsi xe I've got instead of selling it.
Is there anything I need to know/look for before I get going?
Any recommendations on the mount I need to run the f28? Does it need the linekage modified or anything?
What intercooler works well on them? Don't want to cut any of the gsi bumper if poss.
Thanks for any help

need to shorten the gear linkage where it connects to the gearbox selector. that rod needs to be approx 10mil long to be able to get all the gears.

i personally wouldn't reccomend the chris astley mounts, found them pish and weak.

M-tech mounts are better i feel.

theres a how 2 in the tuturial.

I think you may of had a bad set buddy....imo Ive built 2 corsa turbos, the first using mtech and the second using chris's mounts and they are both the same..built the same... no difference apart from chris's being the right price as mtech are rip off. also.. chris's shafts are ten times better quality than mtech...

Each to own though mate.

As nic said.. Modify the linkage matey and as stated above with the cooler etc

ooo dont get me wrong... never experienced one fail.. if there lasting on your hp then great. Ive never ran that power...just imo having both i just think the ones I have now are of a better quality thats all. Also I did'nt like the way the mtech ones get surface rust all over them. I've had chris's ones on now for 2 years and you could sell them as new.
