Im guessing it isnt legal, am i right?

Basically i need to take it off to get onto the ramps to get my tracking done, as the insides of my tyres are slowly dying!

I also need to take it off to fit a new hid balast which is zip tied to my slam panel.

So i was thinking of getting it all sorted on the same day! The garage is 5 mins down the road, through my vilage and then over a bypass (2 miles max)

When the bumper/arches etc got painted they all got lined up properly, so id rather just take them off once as they are a serious ball ache to get back on lined up!

drove mine around for ages without one.

just make sure there is nothing that could stab someone sticking out the front and put your number plate on the front somewhere

A mate was driving his escort around for a while with half a front bumper on. Never got any bother for it.

I don't think it is illegal but dependant on the officer he could deem it as unsafe. Also you'll need a front plate on the front, not just stuck in the bottom corner of the window.

Although, if it's 2miles i wouldn't worry about it too much.

I got pulled with no front plate on my saxo. He just told me to stick it back on when i got the chance, As i took it out of the windscreen and stuck it on infront of him, only for it to fall straight off. Also had a tube of silicone in the car to stick it back on with
