Taken from the PH thread
quote:
The scary thing is that these people are allowed to drive around amongst the general population. You could just be walking down the street, wrong place, wrong time, and some nobchicken comes flying through a hedge and lands their turdmobile on your head, and you never get to see your kids grow up. There should be national cull IMO.

Sorry Im not all that clued up on this stuff, I dont really know how to do a burnout....or how his clutch started smoking? Cos as far as I could see he was just sitting there revving it?
Or was he pressing the brakes too hard?

I think his clutch was fucked already (slipping) or he didn't take his foot off it properly.

normally you would select first gear, allow the revs to build, dump the clutch and then as the rear wheels spin up you gently apply pressure to your brake (left foot as your right is still on the throttle)
this works because the brake bias is set more to the front keeping the front wheels stationary (or try to) while the back wheels are being spun.
due to your front brake bias being greater than the rear the fronts should hold while the rear pads haven't got quite enough bite to keep them from spinning.
