hi there been planing changing my 1.2 16v sxi to 1.6 16v but i want to do it legit on log book ect but wen i rang insurance up they said they wont insure me till iam 25

iam 19 and been driving a year and half i have passplus ect and a years no claims can any one help?

o yes forgot to mention my insurance companys nfu mutual

Mine were 1400 quid last year when i were 17, shouldnt be more then a grand

Change company more than likely, i had a 1.4 Sport when i passed at 17 and a 1.6 Sport at 18.

Go to a different company. You're better off selling your current car and buying a proper 1.6 from an insurance point of view too, they don't like conversions much.

iv just spent a grand getting mine painted lambo green i pay 160 a mounth fully comp now

i dont want to sell it as iv got a lot in it now just wnt a quicker engine :-(
