Im thinking of taking the corsa on an open trackday at Oulton Park on 23rd January for £119.
Its a 1.6sport so not super quick, but pleanty for me.

I was just after people views realy, as the only thing putting me off is i feel like i might be constanty looking in my rear view mirror and having to move out the way for other faster cars, which would ruin the whole experience as i wouldn't be able to just get on with it. Is this an issue anyone has come across, or are trackdays totally different to how i think they might be.

Cheers guys

With a trackday like that you will find plenty of space to have loads of fun, it's usually just action days that tend to get everyone bunched up.

If you can drive you will be suprised at how much you can keep up with the faster cars as you learn the track and the cars capablitites.

tbh it would totally depend on whats there . it could be a quiet day and not many cars there on the other hand it could be booked up and be full of racecars, kitcars etc practiceing and then you would be looking in your mirrors all the time.
just book it and dont worry they have to watch for you too
