Hey, i've just purchased some gaz coilovers for my 2.0 project and cant resist sticking them on the car to see what the ride ect is like, but the problem is atm its a 1.2 8v so would it be right to assume the ride will be overly harsh due to the lack of weight in the engine department? Any help would be great

How much did you pay for the coilovers?

well my plan was to get all the parts needed for the project, and then start it. I didn't think it would be so hard to resist fitting nice shiny parts.

I can get them, but tbh its not really worth either of our time. Just use what you have now and find a happy medium adjusting the dampening.

Well you'll be able to drive it yeah. But you would be using a higher poundage springs for technically no reason. Me personally, I would of waited until I was ready for the conversion, so I didnt have anything lying around tempting me Just wait, after fitting you'll need to pay for your tracking done and same again after the conversion is done. Adding extra costs for no reason.

the answer to ur question is that u are right to assume the ride will be different as there is much less weight on the front! it will be completely different wen u put the 2ltr in! more harsh like but the springs should be ok
