hi there , im thinking of buying my dads sxi corsa off him and putting my xe in that , thing is he polishes it to a reasonably good flame red then leave it a week and were pink again ! anyone got any tips on keeping it red for longer ? any help would be great cheers

i use autoglym high def wax stuff and thats pretty good tbh it can stay shiney for 3 weks or so then just give it another coat but on saying that it wont stay like that in this weather mate

the whole reason it's going back to pink is because he isn't putting protection on it.

wax will protect the paintwork.

polish till your arms fall off then wax it till your head falls off.

or get it buffed then wax it till your head falls off.

Keep it in a garage or use a wax with a UV filter.

I'd go over and t-cut all the pink bits to bring out the original paint, then keep on top of things with a good wax/buff.

spray it another non pink colour, or as said get used to polishing
