Over half a mile. 860m or something. 1km is 1000m, i think a mile is about 1600m?


Love that building. I stayed in that upside down Y building hotel (just at top of left shadow in below pic) when it had been built height wise, just nothing else around it.




Honestly, it makes our Canary Wharf and Gurkin look totally pathetic compared to this.

Its not just the building. I was only there a few years ago, the skytram had not been built, only some of the pillars. Also, that huge junction was just a wide roundabout, no junction or anything. Used to back up with traffic really bad, then you would find some plonker trying to cross the motorway and get accross to the KFC on the other side

I love it, pedestrians get out of the way, exactly the opposite to this country.

there was a vid of some bloke working at the top of that tower posted the other week wasnt there??

whats it actually for? (what goes on inside the tower?)

Mainly apartments i think? Very very very expensive ones at that

I've been up the CN tower in Toronto, the empire state building and the world trade centre in NY
