We've had 6-8 inches of snow here overnight and its started again this morning. i set off an hour early for work and i was still 30 mins late. had to ditch my car and walk half of the way 'cause there are only 2 routes i can take and both are up steep hills. tried a few times to get up and was just going sideways.
gonna see if i can leave work early so i can go dig my car out from where i've left it. fucking rubbish. at least i'm here though not like the lazy gits that phoned in saying they are stuck at home.

We still have snow here from Boxing day, it's not been warm enough to melt. If we get any more we're fucked.

yeah i know Rossendale pretty well. if i lived there i would never have attempted to drive! the only reason i tried this morning is because my journey is pretty flat except for one section. i should have just walked all the way. saw a few people get rear ended this morning. unlucky.

Fair play to going in mate

I heard some woman on the radio earlier, saying thay had 6" and were snowed in. But were going out later to build a snowman. I was like GRR if you can go out to play then you can surley go out to work.

Ive not got any snow here yet, but its expected to start later on.

I expect soon we will need to use proper winter tyres (studded) during these months as they do in Europe.
