Hey guys,
In my day to day car i'm getting condensation and with the cold weather it's got really bad.
It seems to appear on the boot rear screen first so would that be the first place to look? It then appears on the windscreen after that ?
Not sure even what to look for but it's getting frustrating now!
Thanks guys
Rob

Damp inside normally causes it.

mate at work has this problem. he has a de-humidifer in the car to stop the dampness in the car which causes it.

maybe boot seals or arounf the lights? as ben said get a dehumidifier in, i borrowed my freinds industrial one when my renault 5 had been sat for a while, it took out 3-4 litres in a day! once its dry keep checking it and it will be easier to see where the water is entering hopefully

check the pollen filter housing, leaks from there, and also theres vents behind the bumper which can cause issues, iirc fro had to sort them on his golf

I get it, probably due to my leaky windscreen and leaky boot

My gf's corsa suffers from this. Condensation on the rear screen, then as soon as you get in it all the other windows get covered.
Its obviously freezing inside now due to the weather.
I keep meaning to put it in the help zone as I seem to remember some seals leaking and it being a common problem?
She doesnt seem to have any water leaks?!

I'll check this, just read about the pollen filter issue, so will get it changed and check the housing.
Will also check the boot seals as the boot floor does feel a bit damp..

My car is awful, due to the leak i have in it at the moment. I have to drive everywhere with the AC on. But, when it's 0 or below outside, the compressor doesn't kick in, so I have to drive with the windows down

I have to have this chat with my sis all the time.
When you get to warm in the car, Turn the heat down, Dont turn the fans off.
Keep re-circ off as much as poss, Lets the fresh air in and the moist air out. (lets the car breathe)
In corsa B's you need to replace the pollen filter under the scuttle if your still getting steamy inside. Of even just remove it like i did until you can get a new one. Only cheap.
Cars with aircon only really need to use re-circ when you want to go mega cold in summer or when the fumes from the car in front are killing you.
