hi people,
really wanting a job now, been searching and searching and must have applied to at least 50!
only just gone on jobseekers and im absolutly hating it, really dont like being out of work so if anyone knows of anything going around west yorkshire please let me know,
dont mind if its retail,sales,warehouse,couriers,van driving,only qualifications i have is im a level 2 builder,
but really would take anything so let me know,

I got my last two jobs through an agency. Must have been drunk when I signed up mind you as I've nae idea who they are!

i am with 2 agencies and have been messed around a couple of times with one of them,
ive tried, fish4,jobstoday,jobsite,jobcentreplus,jobswestyorkshire,
ive put my cv onto them all and still nothing,

try searching for templine agency. that who i work with. not sure if they work in your area though...

cheers mate, i left school 4 years ago and have worked ever since, ive been out of work now about 1 month ish and its doing my headin, there is jobs out there its just that 100's of people are applying for them,

You need to know how to play agencies.

They can be very affective, however it's important to get the bullshitters out of the way first.

When i went to a jsa meeting thing they said that 60% of jobs are not advertised i.e. word of mouth, freinds and family etc...

You dont sound like you know what you want to do.. You be more positive about the sort of work you want to do.. It will help you as potential employers dont want to employ someone who really doesnt want to be working for them.

yeh cv's upto scratch, davey, its not that i dont know what i want to do, its just that at this very minute i would be happy to be doing anything, ive only ever really done building before and thats well and truely dried up round here,

rated 9th out of 33 thousand now. getting quite a bit of work and often work around leeds, bradford halifax etc and sometimes need a bricki, if your decent and relaible i could possibly get you a bit of work.

just a small update, ive managed to find myself a job!! start this wednesday, i cant wait, just goes to show if you try hard enough and apply to enough jobs, one will come along eventually!! really glad i havnt been out of work that long too, it was starting to get quite boring!! lol
