my advice was in my first reply. its possibly better to think long and hard about what it is that you are posting up instead of something completely pointless.
think before you post. cant get much more helpful than that.

It's pointless to you obviously, but i just wondered as you see the honda engine's in all sorts of cars these days at rally events. So it's not a pointless thread

For all the work you might as well just buy a civic

Just buy a Civic if you want to do that. Or spend the money and put a LET into yours.

Anything can be done. Just a question of how much it will cost, and how long it will take.

i dont think, judging by other posts this fella has made, that he will ever, or even remotely know where to begin to do it. i think he basically was posting a hate crime against corsa owners that use vauxhall engines. im offended tbh. hate crime.

His reasoning is you can already get a car that is significantly better than a corsa and lighter which already has said engine from the factory.
So why would you want to go through all of that ballache and expense to create something that is shitter than what is already available?

you need to think about it properly. and what makes a civic a good car is not just the engine its the chasis the engine is fitted to. the corsa has a rubbish chasis. its never going to handle all that well. what would make putting a tec motor into a corsa awesome exactly? it wouldnt be any better than putting a vauxhall engine in which will be easier, cheaper and more suited.
hence, think before you post.

The only thing about this thread is that an extra Y has accidently been added for the title - no need for the slating really

Don't talk pish. In what way is the B16 better than a B18? If you're going to put vtec into a Corsa, might as well spend a bit of cash! B20 with B16/B18 head with breathing mods will see a good torque figure with 200+bhp.

For starters i havent got to think before i post! i can post what i like so if you dont like it dont comment that's what i do, you've got a point about the handling difference, all i wanted to know was if anybody had done a conversion i.e build thread so i could have a look... and a B20 vtec in a corsa would be amazing better than most of the engine's that we put in corsa's, plus most vtec's are bulletproof
