i used to arrange everything at the old place ranging from karting to full blown piss ups.
Used to get a good 15-20 people going!

normally its just 4-5 of us that get on really well. So i know they are going anyway. but as for the other 20 people !! wankers

It depends how well you get on with your colleagues and whether you have anything in common. I personally try to avoid going out with people from work on account of them being a bit snobby.

Tried organsing a monthly night out when I worked as a welder, happened once!
I used to go on loads of works night outs at my old job. To be honest though, I prefer going out with my mates. Work mates generally piss me off towards the end ofthe night.

We had a full day in edinburgh with about 40 of us going, were out last week in our local, only had about 12 or so for that though, then 2 weeks today we're out again locally, 2 shifts going so should be a few out

There's usually a few things in the office each year but I tend not to go on them as they usually get organised 25 miles from home so would end up costing £40 for a taxi.
Not sure what's going to happen this year as it seems to have turned into eastenders with the amount of office affairs and fighting lately

Our department used to go out alot. Clubbing/Bowling etc not happened for a while though but there are alot less of us than there used to be. Usually comes out of our profit centres entertainment fund

I get on with everyone here but spending time outside of work with them is another matter all together. Had a night out with a couple of them before but the majority I have nothing to do with outside of work hours
