Finally took the plunge and bought a full suspension bike today! Cant wait for the snow to go so I can put some miles on it. Going to be a big difference from the old Scott Reflex I have at the moment, going to keep that as well as will still use it.

Trek Fuel EX8 2010

Was going to buy a Scott Scale 30 Carbon Hardtail but Wheelbase had this at too good a price to ignore

This is my other bike, trusty old girl for the past 3 years. Will still use it too

It will either be a Genius or Ransom that your mate has as the Scale is hardtail only.

I could do with having the forks serviced on the Scott, the ones on the Trek are always going to be better but they feel horrible now

I have a Specialized Allez Sport for commuting and road riding

Yeah thats why I couldn't miss out getting it! No VAT on throughout January. It'll go back up to £2050 in Feb (they are slightly more expensive than other places when the sale isn't on). Bonus of being local to me too

Wheelbase at Staveley. Never bought a bike from them before, they were really helpful. I didn't have enough room in my car yesterday so I'm going back to pick it up tomorrow hopefully!

This is the site http://www.wheelbase.co.uk/

No its a modernish warehouse. All the buildings in the same yard as it as are wooden. Its an old wood yard, quite nice. Couple of good places to eat there too and Kentmere is right on the doorstep. Worth a day out

You probably will have come through that way if you were coming from Durham but that must be at least 20 miles from where Wheelbase is
