Im looking at one for my next project in the summer..There is one on ebay not far from me at all, But Its more than what I was hoping to pay for one. I know that its worth that kind of money though.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nova-1-3sr-unmolested-and-original-factory-spec_W0QQitemZ140371662424QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item20aecd9658

Would you consider it a crime to remove the 1.3 engine from it and change it to a bigger one? I dunno how I feel about doing it to such a original car.

I would rather buy a one that needs work and build up from that.

I dunno what to do

standard cars are getting hard to find especialy the more sportier models such as the sr, if bought it should only be touched to make it concourse, if it was a common base spec 1.2 then its not so bad

a friend of mine does stock car racing in old bentlys, he says cars are cars just in different shapes, there still just metal..

if you do a good job on the engine conversion then i dont see why not..

fooking novas, everytime i see a mint one i wanna buy it, if it was a special model like the 1.4 sr or an a reg one with the funny front bumper then i wouldn't change it, its just a normal 1.3, if you wanna change it drastically then get one that needs work

I think it would be a crime to mess with the "sportier" models, maybe some old twin 40's would be good though, no engine transplants, as for the base spec ones....do anything.
