i was at a house party last night and there was a bloke there who does card tricks for a living. we got him to show us a few and he was amazing. i only know one card trick and it is obvious. the only other trick i know is the fag ash one where you make it go through the persons hand. eveyone has seen that one though so it never amazes anyone.
i'd love to learn some decent tricks but most places online want you to pay to see how they are done.

I Like the "I Bet you can't drink 5 shots, in the time it'll take me to drink 3 pints, one rule, the opponent cannot touch the other players glass"
Once you've drank the first pint, put your glass over a shot glass with liquid in, they cannot remove it....
Saw it on hustle the other day, made me chuckle.

my mate can do a few and still wont tell me to this day how he does them.i know how to make a piece of felt dissapear in my wrist which is pretty good,catches alot of people out.

a mate at work told me one and i have used it a few times. After drinking a bottle try and get a bottle cap and squeeze it in half, place it in the neck of the bottle and bet some1 they wont be able to blow it in.

I know a trick which the end result involves all the cards being black in one pile and red in the other - but the 'cool' thing is, the person you're doing the trick to gets to guess if the card is black or red. I'll see if I can find the video on youtube of it being done

a good one me and my mate have always done isnt a card trick , but we call it black magic, dunno where we got it from. basically someone secretly says an i tem to me and my mate has to guess what it is.
i then reel off a list of items and the item siad to me i always say after i have said a black item. that way my mate knows what it is.
sounds a bit lame but always gets people and they can never guess what it is. we have never revealed it either

the one i use to do is only good if you're playing against girls and bet them fapage or drinks
(also helps if they're slighty pissed  )
you'll need:
three glasses (ideally pint glasses)
quick and skillfull hands.
Challenge:
Move 2 glasses at a time.
On the 3rd move all glasses should be facing up.
Show them how its done really quickly
start off like: /-\ \_/ /-\
/-\ /-\ \_/ *1st 2moves middle and right
\_/ /-\ /-\ *2nd move left and right
\_/ \_/ \_/ *3rd move middle and right
when done turn the middle over to look like this
\_/ /-\ \_/
and when they do it all the glasses face down.

pool one... 20pound note down, red ball on top of the note, 5p on top of the red ball, get them to hit the red ball with the cue ball and if the 5p lands on the cloth and not the note, they keep the 20quid, seen it done once in about 300 attempts
