That looks quite nice Awesome colour and the interior isn't cluttered with buttons everywhere.

I put a Bluefin map on my A3. Same engine as you have.

I've had it on a couple of weeks now and would recommend it so far. Feels faster, smoother and its just as good on fuel if not a little bit better. I love how much torque there is. The beauty of it is that you can put it on or take it off yourself should you need to... dead simple.

Edit - just to add you need to be wary about some remaps as they claim more power and torque but ruin your clutch and also could cause issues with the DPF.

i have been aware of some problems with the DPFs on these engines, how much did your remap cost?

That Bluefin is a bit extreme isn't it! Why you would want to take the map on and off I don't know. Sounds like you're trying to justify the cost to yourself to me. Can get a new map put on for £150.

I got it in a group buy for £355. Got 10 of us together and they did us a discount.

I've never had a problem with the DPF on mine over 28,000 miles now.

Can you get a new remap for the 170 engine for £150? Revo etc. want just as much if not more than Bluefin for a similar remap.

Its hardly extreme, it takes 20 mins to take on and off. I will probably turn it off when it goes in for service with it still being under warranty.

If Audi put a revised map on it then it means bluefin can send me a new map to suit and can upload it myself again. Was just a nice extra really, more bothered about how the car feels to drive.

Nice, prefer them in white though!

Interior is a big improvement over the Mk1!

Most maps from reputable tuners are 3-400quid

good for warranty reasons.

also, some companies have multiple maps on their hand held devices so you can chop and change to economy or all out power whenever you feel like it.

It's comparable to a Jetta so would be cheaper than a Passat.
