hello
i adjusted my handbrake 2day it now locks up on about 6 clicks
but its only fully locking up one wheel
in the past year it has had new shoes , one new cylinder and new handbrake cables
i think 6-7 clicks is correct for a corsa
is this right ? also any ideas on the promblem ?
thanks

Check it hasn't unhooked, take the drum off and have a look but try not to disassemble it as it's a pig to get back together, rather messy.

I adjusted mine so it was about 6 or 7 (Haynes manual says it should be 8) but it didn't work properly so I changed it back to 4. Works fine now.

Put the handbrake on and see if you can move the car by pushing it. If you can then I would fix it

handbrake on, jack one side up, try to turn the wheel, if it moves, you need to take the drum off and put the cable back on the clip, as it's obviously fallen off or there is some other problem in the shoe.
