Ever taken the air con pump out of a 1.6 corsa sport, and if so what size belt did you use afterwards?

i took it off my old 1.4 sport, just used a non aircon belt from a motor factors. cant remember if i had to change the tensioner or not tho

Oh right yer ok, that's what i was thinking, because it wouldn't run through the tensioner, it would just go straight to the alternator, and any adjustment would have to made by moving the alternator it's self?

get an belt and tensioner off a 1.4 sri wae no powersteering. supose urs will have power steering does it?

Yep it does, so if i was to take the air con off there would be the crank pulley, power steering, alt and tensioner...

the tensioners on the engine mount. pas pump so just buy a belt for a non aircon model and be done with it

as i said i cant remember if the tensioners are different or not but if they are change it to a non aircon tensioner then get a new belt, it will go round the crank, tensioner, pas pump and alternator then
