As many people are aware road tax is on the up and rise in April

doesnt it change every year for some reason i always thought it did .

wont affect me ill still have to pay it as i still need to drive and i cant imagine mine changing to anything silly.

does it not just apply to new cars registered on or after the 1st april?

They change the price of each band every so often.

Change after 1st April might be a new band, but even if you've got an older car, it isn't immune to price changes.

30 quid more a year. not too bad.

Please note: All cars registered between March 2001 and March 2006 that produce more than 225g/km CO2, will temporarily join Band K in 2009 and 2010.

So mine will be £215 - same as last year iirc
