....had a slight incident in the Corsa today with a bollard and some bastard snow!!!
Ive smashed the headlight and the wing needs replacing which is fine no problem, however now the steering wheel is 180% out, yet the wheels are all pointing forward in the correct direction, car drives fine just pulls a little to the right when i take my hand off the wheel. So its like when you had a pushbike and the handle bars were pointing in diff direction the front wheel
What do you think this is likely to be? how much roughly am i looking at to bring into a garage
many thanks people

If its 180 degrees out, it will be alot more than just tracking.

if you only paid 300quid for the car, turn the steering wheel round 180degrees and think nothing more of it

Look at the track rod end and along towards the steering rack, it is probably bent.

dont be gash have a look at it and sort out the problem. Do not just spin the steering wheel around there is obviously damage.
A steering component bent so much its giving your steering wheel 180 degrees out is going to be weakened a hell of a lot. Do you really want your track rod to snap when your driving along at 70mph.
Dont be ayrton senna.

anyone who drives at 70mph when they know the steering is fucked will be a good candidate for the darwin award.
