i have a red flashing light above fog light and goes off wen key is in igniton. thanks

ok thanks i lookd inside the key and didnt c a chip. theres a battery but thts for light its got.

I thought they came standard with corsa's anyway?

There is a ring that goes over the ignition, a part in the key and the immobiliser is also programmed into the ECU.

Will have imobliser then.

ALL after 1995 ISH have them. Way to know is, take key apart, on the left hand side there is a small black bit, its about 1mm wide by 7mm long, easy to see.

If it hasnt got one then the imobliser has been removed.

OR your looking at your spare key that might not have one.

If the battery is attached to the LED that has nothing to do with the immobiliser at all .

take the steering surrounds off and look to see if you can see a black box and the chip might be on there i lost the chip on 1 of my keys so i got the chip out of my other ket and taped it on with insulation tape and it worked after no problem

^How will that help?!, It will start. Its a vauxhall chip imobliser, it dont need to be unlocked.
