Going to see Peter Kay in May. Seeing as it's a 180 mile one way journey, I want to stay in a hotel with the misses.

Needs to be within walking distance of the MEN Arena, have parking for guests and do Bed & Breakfast,

Any recommendations? The ticket suggests the Crowne Plaza in Manchester City Centre and their rooms are about £130 including breakfast. I wouldn't mind something like a Premier Inn which would see sub-£100 rooms.

So yeah, any recommendations?!

There's a Premier Inn near Oxford Road IIRC.

The Premier Inn right near it is full. I knew I should have booked sooner

Might treat ourselves to the Crowne Plaza.

Premier Inn have 2 - "Manchester City MEN/Printworks" or "Manchester City (Portland St)".

For me, the Printworks one is fully booked. Portland is available, but about a 20 minute walk according to Google Maps. I guess it won't be an issue.

The Portland Street one is 20minutes walk, the Manchester Central one is 20minutes walk. One of them must have rooms free.

This is starting to get expensive and I should have looked into it more

Parking is £20 for the 24 hours at most places, plus rooms are mental.

Anyone want Peter Kay tickets?!

There are cheaper ones, and if its Sat its free after 6pm til Mon 8am. Otherwise park on the street as late in the day as poss and just feed the meter a few quid to take it over to the next day.

Park Inn Hotel is opposite the arena but not sure what they charge. Portland Premier isn't too bad and you can get tram from St Peters Square(2 mins away) to Victoria.

Tickets are for Friday 7th May.

Got the City Stop Apartments for £89 off LateRooms.com.

That is a full sized apartment in Manchester city centre for £89 all in

Would just need to find a café for breakfast. And a decent car park to leave my car in. NCP will hopefully come up trumps as there are loads in the city centre.
