I personally love them.Would have 1 any day.Can look nice with a wee bit lowering on the standard Cyclones. Not keen on the phase1s tho.Prefer a 2/3.
Id prefer the less fat Rallye version though but they seem to go for a good bit more £.

From experience, they sound great with exhaust and induction mod's, handle very well and are pretty quick.
Haven't owned one myself but a mate has one and can say after being in it I really do like them and rate them.

Love these, sooo nice to drive on the limit. Comes a close second to the clio williams as my fav hot hatch of the 90s.

I also think they are quite under rated.

I've got a 306 rallye which will be on the road shortly, fully stripped of everything, two sparco composite buckets, harnesses, brakes, speedlines and some semi slicks, hopefully if the welding goes to plan it will be on the road tomorrow

Will get some pics up!

the better engine to have in a 306 I would have thought not bad cars in general, they have their usual peugeot niggles like electrics go wrong and my mates 306 seems to eat brake cylinders strangely but can look awesome modded! wouldn't mind a tidy example

My mate used to have one, lowered on 17s. I thought it was great at the time, stuck to the road like a go-kart and the 6 speed box was also good too.

He has a standard vehicle now.

i had one and loved it to bits, watch out for the repaired cambelt snappers as these normally have a tap and get one thats had a cambelt and tensioner change.
i loved mine to bits and would recommend them to anyone!
this was mine :

@ that price i suspect it wont hang around for long.

There was a few for sale on Gumtree around my area just before Xmas and they were silly cheap.

An Astor Grey,p3 in very good condition for £1k.

Alot of car for the money, and they dont get the normal "piece of French shit" review like most pugs do.
