I'm not looking forwards to this if I'm going to be buying a car that needs 99 ron. I love this country.

It'll be up and down again for years, we're on an up at the moment.
I doubt we'll EVER hit 85p a litre again though unless somerthing happens about the fuel tax

hence why i stopped buying 99 ron fuel although it only worked out an extra tenner or so a month (£2.50 on 50 litres of fuel) so isn't so bad really.
i had to stop using it because my car stank of eggs.

Egg? What fuel was that?
It was $79 a barrel 15/01/10 for reference.

tesco 99. took it into ford and they said it was due to the sulphur content in the fuel? not sure if theres any truth in that but tesco 99 certainly did make my car smoke a lot.
stick to tesco normal unleaded now, works fine.

The Egg smell is your catalyst working hard.
And no car NEED's 99ron fuel unless it has been specifically mapped for it.
