Hi all,

I recently bought some morrette headlights for my corsa b. They came supplied with morrette indicator units also but since then Ive heard a few people have done away with their fog lights and run the indicators in the fog housings which obviously means there's no need to cut the bumper up to house the seperate indictor units etc and would look much cleaner all round. So what Id like to know Is how exactly have you gone about it? Obviously the indictor wiring could be extended down to the fog but then the standard indictor bulb would not fit the standard fog housing. Another thought was to get hold of some orange indicator bulbs that slot into the current fog bulb holder but Im unsure if these seperate and If they are available? Or Maybe some have just trimmed the rear of the fog housing to accept the original indictor bulb and left it to dangle in there? I would like it to be as neat/tidy as possible and all items to attach as they should but if anyone could explain how they have done their own I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, Nick.

Thanks, However thats not really the question I was asking though is it? I am yet to double check this but I think you may find its a grey area and down to testers individual discretion mot wise. I work alongside a fair few testers on a daily basis so I can soon find out for sure if its indeed not considered to be ample for the mot In which case I can change my plans. But I dont see how they would be any different from say morrettte indicators positioned were most do above the fogs within the bumper? As they would provide almost exactly the same view from the same angles?

Is the above stated in the rule book? If so I will consider other options however there's obviously some who do/have got away with it unless they swap to the orginal units for the test etc. Thanks for the heads up.

That is the law that our mot'ers work to.
Can't find the exact law though.
