Might look good as ET49s sit in quite a bit at the rear. I do have about a 3-4mm gap between outer tyre edge and arch though so ET42 would be no good.

et42 and 7j is fine for a corsa, would just need to trim the rear arches (take the arch bolts out) and bond the arches on with tiger seal or similar..

just looked on here..

http://img431.imageshack.us/img431/8467/irmscherwheels9nh.jpg

and it does say there for an astra (but not doesnt have a circle saying they are for a corsa) but surely they would still fit if there 4 stud or are the stud distance different?

They'll fit the Tigra but not the Corsa Strange.

The PCD must be 4x100 if it'll go on a Tigra.

Why bother they make ones that fit perfect?

they dont fit perfect though do they, just because you can go low on them doesnt mean they look perfect as i commented on a picture of yours before saying that the rear wheels needed to be spaced to fill out the arches better..

so imo the 7j et42 ones would be perfect

True. Although because it said "New Vectra" I assumed it meant mk4 Astra.

Who knows, I'm right confused now

All the 4 stud are 4 x 100.

There's also no reference to offset on that Irmscher brochure although I would guess that you can't get an ET49 rim at 7" width.

Wouldn't be perfect because they don't fit properly, I'd rather them sit 3mm too far in than butcher the rear arches

you could easily run 7j with et42 offset though so how can you say they wouldnt fit properly?

taking the arch bolts out and bonding them on is not 'butchering' them..

I've got to agree there, et 49's sit far to far in and I needed spacers so my astra alloys didn't rub on my coilies. I've got et35 7j's on mine now and only needed the arch bolts out at the rear and they're fine on the front, although it's only down about 50mm.

some people just like things the way they are and tbh dont need abuse from scene puppets over their own cars.

What he means is that ET49 ones will go straight on with no hassle whereas the ET42 ones need minor arch work to get them on
