anyone got any ideas with this am stuck with it,
when i am driving along road in my car and when coming to a junction and going down threw the gears as soon as i dip the clutch the revs die down too 500rpm and some times the car stalls.....
and some times when the rev counter needle goes down to 500 rpm when u dip the clutch the speedo needle goes down to 0mph aswell...then the speedo doesnt come back on and work again or if it does the speedo needle jumps to 30mph and drops back down to 0mph??
also when it is idleing it hunts from 500rpm to 1000rpm and if u recycle the iginition it doesnt do it when u start it back up....
anyone help i am well stuck lol

i think icv for the idleing mate but whats the crack with speedo would that icv cause that prob?

the car nearly stalling could cause the speedo to do that i suppose?

mine done this once before and it had just blown a fuse! speedo wouldnt work, kept cutting out when dumping the clutch and also cigarette lighter didnt work. replaced a 20amp fuse that had blown and was fine after that! it was the cigarette lighter that caused mine to blow!

 ON 1997 onwards there`s no speedo cable, there for in the back of the clock`s is a speed sensor that tells your speedo what speed your doing and also tells the ECU what speed your doing. If its faulty this is why your car wants to stall. replace it mate or replace the clock`s.

its on its 2nd set of clocks now mate lol and it still does it but it now does it worse on these 2nd clocks ive put in.....
