Having passed an Onion at the weekend, it made me think about the older cars you used to see everywhere, that now you hardly see at all.
Onions (Orions)
XR3i/RS Turbo shape Escorts
If your gonna do it XR Poo it (XR2)
R5GTT
Uno's (Ok most have rusted)
Older puntos (see above)
Ford sierras, saphires, granadas
Renault Laguna 16v (what was the one that used the 1.8 16v, same as the Clios, but had a boot, 4 spoke alloys, loved those, never ever ever see them now though (Pre Laguna!!))
Ironically I still frequently see Mk2 Astras, Cavaliers, and Calibras, E30 BMW's etc.
Does that mean Fords dissapear faster, or die faster?
Don't think of modified cars, these will always be about, i mean generally cars on the road.
I miss the simplistic no electronics, throttle, brake things, guess thats why the XE corsa was so much fun.
Anyone think of anything else?

Someone tell me when you last saw a Maestro Turbo? Only 505 built and I'd imagine the dreaded rot has got alot of them.

seems strange but lately I've noticed loads of Sierra's and Granada's. You don't see many Renault 21's around anymore or Peugeot 309's.
