Put some stuff on ebay for the first time in well over a year last night

2 things were buy it now

one sold within an hour

then recieve thius email this morning "hi,sorry think i have made a mistake,i thought i have brought the printer as well, and now reading again, its just the stand isnt it.sorry"

my reply

The listing clearly states it is an HP designjet stand and bin

The only time a plotter is mentioned is saying that it is for a stand only and the plotter is not included.

It is also BOUGHT not brought. Brought means to bring something with you

Whats the deal can i make him pay fees or how do i go about relisting it without costing me another listing fee?

cheers

You can leave positive feedback now or leave positive feedback later lol

Yes, it's crap for the sellers now, but it was meant to make it less intimidating for buyers if they were sent a piece of junk.

John, sellers can leave positive and only positive. If you successfully do an unpaid item strike, they have their feedback privileges removed.

Yeah, buy them and neg them. However, ebay aren't thick and they'll see if your IP matches your current account and retaliating. I've been caught out with that before

As long as you've not logged into both accounts on the same IP you're fine. Use your phone to log into the 2nd account

And there is the problem

Buyers can hold sellers hostage now! combined with having to wait 14 days before being able to raise a dispute and 'officially' cancel the auction it means wasted time and money

Was there no 2nd bidder? In scenarios like this, if I wanted to sell quick, I'd take the couple of quid hit and sell to 2nd highest.
