The guide lines? If it's same as photoshop you just click in the rulers at the top and side and drag them across to where you want them

It means press those buttons. Or how about you read the help file, but you probably won't understand it because it gives you instructions like that.

From this I am guessing he want a table to put loads of cool information in like how many companies he owns. So just dragging the guidelines isn't going to do what he wants it to do.

If you want to create a table then this will help. If you don't then your picture isn't very informative.

Have you tried restarting the tutorial from the begin and double checking you haven't missed any simple steps?
