You don't need an internet connection for the new ovi maps, can be stored locally.

Yes, you used to have to buy the license to use the nav feature after the trial period ran out. I get unlimited net with my contract so it's a bonus.

go to the ovistore on your phone and dl it from there. then you just install it

That's pretty cool. Checked the store (on my phone now) and it says you need to update phone software before downloading the new Maps. Thought i had the latest update already oh well.

i just downloaded this on my phone as the satnav before was trying to make me pay, so far so good, hasnt popped up asking for money yet
